MyHealth is a patient portal for Internet access to your medical records. MyHealth will give you a new, safe and private way to access your records 24/7. It’s easy to use, free of charge and completely secure. If you would like anytime, anywhere online access to your health records, please click the link to sign up!

About the Madelia Health MyHealth Patient Portal:

Madelia Health is dedicated to helping improve your overall health care experience by providing convenient, streamlined resources to help you better manage your health. The Madelia Health MyHealth Patient Portal is a free, secure online resource that lets you access your health information 24 hours a day, seven days a week, from anywhere there is an internet connection. The MyHealth portal offers flexibility to contact your provider’s office or access your medical records when it’s convenient for you. You can also receive notices to your personal email account when there is important information available in your MyHealth portal account.

With Madelia Health MyHealth you can:

  • View your health history and personal health records online.

  • Get real-time health updates including medications, diagnoses and immunization records, as well as most lab results.

  • Email a question to your provider or care team through a secure messaging system.

  • Get clinic visit summaries.

  • Access your health information using any Android or Apple® mobile device

  • The Madelia Health Patient Portal should not be used for urgent medical matters. If it is an emergency, call 911 or visit your nearest hospital emergency department.

Portal FAQs

I was signed up for the old portal. Can I still access information from that site?

Unfortunately, you will not be able to access your records from the old portal. Rest assured that Madelia Health and your health care provider DO have access to all of your records through a legacy system.

How do I sign up for the Madelia Health MyHealth Portal?

How do I schedule an appointment?

Once you have a MyHealth account, you will need to log into your account. Select the “Appointments” option from the navigation menu on the left side of the portal screen. Next select “Schedule a New Appointment” from the drop-down menu. Choose “Office Visit – Follow Up – MyHealth” as the reason for your visit. If you need to change or cancel a current appointment, please call the Clinic directly at (507) 642-5200.

Can I enroll my spouse, child or another family member in MyHealth?

Parents/legal guardians of children under 13 years of age can enroll for access to their child’s account. Access will be automatically revoked when that child turns 13 years old. The account retains all the old information, but no new information will be added by Madelia Health to their portal account. Once the child turns 18, they can sign up for their own portal account.

You can enroll for access to your child’s medical information at their next appointment. You cannot enroll for access to another adult’s medical information at this point in time.

Can I pay or view my bill through the portal?

You can now pay your bill through the MyHealth portal or you can just click here.

Is there an app for MyHealth?

Once you’ve enrolled in MyHealth you can download the HealtheLife app to have the ability to access your MyHealth patient portal from your mobile device. Login with your regular patient portal username and password. HealtheLife works on an android or iphone and the icon looks as follows:

Can I use MyHealth to communicate an emergency or medical concern?

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 and do not use online messaging. MyHealth and secure online messaging is for routine health-related inquiries only. You will receive a response within one to two business days (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Messages are not monitored on the weekends.

For security reasons, you should not send confidential information via e-mail. If you choose to communicate with your care team, you will need to use secure messages through MyHealth.

Will MyHealth allow me to make online appointment requests or cancellation requests?

Yes. If you choose to request or cancel an appointment through MyHealth, a representative from Madelia Health will respond within one to two business days (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Are there situations where I shouldn’t use online messaging through MyHealth?

Yes. Please call us at 507-642-5200 instead of using online messaging for any of the following purposes:

  • You need to see a physician today
  • You need a prescription filled today
  • You need to cancel or reschedule an appointment in the next 24 hours
  • You need to cancel or reschedule a procedure/surgery within the next four days

What lab results will be viewable in MyHealth?

Most common lab test results will be viewable in MyHealth. Some sensitive results are not currently available in MyHealth. These include but are not limited to STD screenings, HIV, pathology, radiology, microbiology, some cancer markers, drugs of abuse, alcohol and pregnancy-related results.

Lab result will be delivered into MyHealth 36 hours after results are entered into your electronic medical record.

Can I request a prescription refill through the MyHealth portal?

Yes. The portal does support this function. Just click on the Medications tab on the menu. You can also request to refill a prescription through your pharmacy. Please remember to allow at least 72 hours for your prescription request to be processed.
