  • Order Review and Communication
  • Confers with salesmen and keeps the hospital and clinic staff informed of new equipment and supplies
  • Notify staff of any changes regarding supplies or equipment
  • Update administrator with any new equipment request and pricing
  • Ensure proper training completed before supplies are used

Materials Management Inventory Control

  • Maintains proper daily inventory and charges
  • Uses a Materials Management program in order to purchase and receive supplies and keep an accurate and ongoing inventory
  • Reviews any lost, defective, outdated and wasted supplies and makes sure they are documented into inventory
  • Maintains system of records to control requisitioning and dispensing of supplies to departments and to ensure accurate patient billing

Materials Management Teamwork

  • Communicates to other departments, any charges that are incomplete to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Maintains accurate cost and patient charges in the daily functions of the department
  • Interacts with area Material Management to coordinate the exchange of emergency supplies on short notice and exchange of new equipment and supply information
  • Willing to adjust personal schedule to meet department needs
  • Assists in developing the skills of key staff who handle supplies. May be responsible for orientation or training
  • Additional duties may include, but are not limited to, in-service education, quality improvement implementation, and documentation

Development Activities

  • Meets with vendor representatives to promote efficient ordering, gather new product information, and expand services to the hospital & clinic. Respects hospital & clinic staff information.
  • Updates and implements departmental policies and procedures as needed. Submits committee minutes as required.

Madelia Health Home Care is seeking an experienced RN to join our team. This RN will manage a client case load, make visits to client homes, assess, plan and implement client care and perform staff supervision. Familiarity with OASIS assessments, 485 composition, coding, care plan design and implementation are required strengths. Responsibilities / Duties:

This NP will provide comprehensive emergency medical care encompassing everything from acute illnesses to complex health issues and traumas in patients of all ages. Job Duties:

  • Providing and coordinating medical care for patients presenting to the emergency department and for urgent care services
