Madelia, Minn. – Madelia Health is excited to announce that Megan Gossman, APRN, CNP, has joined our Madelia Clinic providers as a Nurse Practitioner after completing her education and certification. Gossman had been a valuable part of the Nursing Department in the Madelia Health Hospital for over 20 years prior to starting her practice in the Clinic. In addition to working shifts on the floor, she was also the Infection Prevention/Employee Health Coordinator during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gossman graduated from Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Public School and attended South Central College where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing. She then attended Minnesota State University-Mankato and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as an RN, Gossman continued her studies and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and cares for patients of all ages.

In her practice, Gossman has a passion for preventive medicine and encourages her patients to be actively involved in their care. “I want my patients to understand their health care needs and to be active participants with decision-making that affects their wellness,” said Gossman.

Gossman lives in Madelia with her family and pets. She loves all kinds of animals and is excited to start some new hobbies now that she is done with her Master’s program, like gardening and hiking. For an appointment with Gossman, call the Madelia Clinic at 507.642.5200.
