New Nurse Practitioner in Madelia – Shari Simondet
Madelia, Minn. – Madelia Health is happy to introduce Shari Simondet as our newest Family Nurse Practitioner at the Clinic in Madelia.
Simondet is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner originally from Mankato. She started her career with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Nursing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. She then worked as a nurse for several years at Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital (now Mayo Clinic Health Systems) in Mankato. After receiving her Nurse Practitioner license, she worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Urgent Care and Emergency, and was most recently at MedExpress Urgent Care in Mankato. She has also been an instructor at Rasmussen College and a Clinical Consultant at South Country Health Alliance in Owatonna.
“I enjoy serving patients of all ages and providing comprehensive, preventive care to patients and their families,” said Simondet. “My passion is to understand each patient’s unique healthcare expectations and to help them achieve their personal goals.”
Simondet does preventive physicals and Department of Transportation (DOT) exams too. She also likes providing patients with the education and resources they require to make healthy and informed personal healthcare choices.
Simondet enjoys spending time outdoors, fishing, boating and loves listening to a wide variety of music.
