March SHOUT-OUTS

There were 36 SHOUT-OUTS at Madelia Health for March! What is a SHOUT-OUT? Staff members are encouraged to recognize their co-workers for doing exemplary work, going above and beyond for our patients and coworkers, or just being a positive person to work with. All nominees receive a treat in recognition of their SHOUT-OUT. At the end of each month the names of the SHOUT-OUT recipients are put in a drawing for the Caregiver of the Month. The winner receives a gift card plus the honor of parking in the Caregiver of the Month parking spot.

The winner of the employee of the month in March was Samantha Knakmuhs. Sam is a Certified Pharmacy Technician at the Lake Crystal Pharmacy. She and her fellow technician, Lynn Jessen, were nominated by Paul Windschill, RPh. Paul states:

“I had the pleasure of working with two great pharmacy technicians this past week where we administered over 100 COVID-19 vaccinations. They are extremely organized and efficient and their customer service is exemplary. It was a GREAT week serving many patients from a large geographic area. The positive comments from everyone was an extremely valuable for customer awareness and public relation communications for the Lake Crystal Pharmacy.  All the patients were so excited and appreciative to be able to conveniently receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Lake Crystal.  It was a very professionally rewarding week and I was excited and proud to be part of that experience!  Thank you!”

At the end of the year, the caregiver who has the most SHOUT-OUTS will be the Employee of the Year for Madelia Health.
