Madelia Health Foundation’s Speakeasy Gala Raises Over $27,000, Reaching X-Ray Equipment Fundraising Goal
MADELIA, MN –
The Madelia Health Foundation is celebrating the success of its 2025 Speakeasy Gala, which raised more than $27,000 to support new X-ray equipment and facility upgrades at Madelia Health. The event, held on September 27, 2025, brought community members together for a night of fun, food, and fundraising — all in support of local health care.
Guests dressed to the nines in 1920s style for the speakeasy-themed evening, which featured a VIP cocktail experience, live entertainment, a spirited live auction, and lively casino games. Nearly 100 people registered, with about 76 in attendance.
“Our community continues to amaze us with their generosity and enthusiasm,” said Allie Kiecker, Executive Director of the Madelia Health Foundation. “Thanks to everyone who supported the gala — from our guests to our sponsors and volunteers — we have now fully met our fundraising goal for the new X-ray equipment. This project will have a lasting impact on patient care in Madelia.”
The top live auction item of the night was TLC’s Concrete Curbing, purchased by Mike and Deb Grote for $600. The evening’s proceeds, combined with earlier donations and grants, have successfully funded the purchase and installation of new X-ray equipment for Madelia Health.
