Madelia Health Foundation Continues Tree of Remembrance Tradition
MADELIA, MN – The Madelia Health Foundation Tree of Remembrance will once again offer community members a meaningful way to honor, remember, and celebrate loved ones during the holiday season. For more than 30 years, the annual tradition has provided families and friends with an opportunity to recognize those who have made a lasting impact on their lives.
This year marks an exciting new chapter for the Tree of Remembrance. After many years as an outdoor display, the tree will now be located inside the Madelia Health Clinic Lobby, providing a warm and welcoming space where patients, families, visitors, and caregivers can reflect throughout the holiday season.
As tribute names are received, commemorative ornaments will be added to the tree in honor and memory of those recognized by the community. The display will continue to grow throughout the season, serving as a visible reminder of the lives, friendships, and relationships that have touched the community.
Community members are invited to attend the annual Tree of Remembrance Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 20, at 4:45 p.m. in the Madelia Health Clinic Lobby. Following the ceremony, the tree will remain on display through Jan. 3.
Proceeds from the Tree of Remembrance support the mission of the Madelia Health Foundation, helping strengthen healthcare services and ensure quality care remains available close to home.
