Madelia 5K Run/ 1M Walk at Park Days

The Madelia Community Hospital Foundation will again be collaborating with Anderson Race Management to host a 5K Run in conjunction with the Madelia Park Days activities. This year we are adding a one mile walk to the event, for people that want to participate and support MCHC, but just aren’t quite ready for a 5K.

The 5K race starts at 8 a.m., and the 1M walk starts at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday, July 13 th . Both events start at the Madelia Town Hall and wind through Madelia and the beautiful Watonwan River valley. Onsite registration costs for the 5K Run/1M Walk is $30 for runners and $25 for walkers. Sign in and onsite registration will take place on July 13th from 6:45 – 7:45 a.m. Race awards will be given for the 5K only: 1 st, 2nd and 3rd place (by age group), Team with the Most Participants, Fastest Team.
