Madelia Health – Lake Crystal Clinic Moving
Lake Crystal, Minn. – The Madelia Health – Lake Crystal Clinic will be moving across the street to 200 E. Prince Street beginning August 1st. Madelia Health has operated a family medicine clinic in Lake Crystal since August of 2020. The new offices will be located in the Crystal Seasons Living Center with the main entry off of Prince Street.
“Madelia Health will continue to offer high quality health care in Lake Crystal,” said David Walz, CEO of Madelia Health. “The new clinic location is larger and more convenient for the residents at Crystal Seasons, and still convenient to the Lake Crystal Pharmacy located on Main Street. We want to make it easy for patients to get their primary care needs met and their prescriptions filled without even leaving town.”
The clinic will continue to be staffed by a full team of health professionals, including providers Dr. Marc Wilkinson and Nurse Practitioner Elissa Karels. Patients of all ages are welcome, from children to older adults. Providers care for acute illnesses and minor injuries, chronic disease and medication management, immunizations, well-child care, sports physicals, adult physicals and preventive health care. Some laboratory tests and services are also offered on-site. Dr. Wilkinson splits his practice between the clinics in Madelia and Lake Crystal, and was recently named Madelia Health Chief of Staff.
When needed, Madelia Health can also offer Lake Crystal patients the convenience of a full-service hospital with lab, radiology and surgical services just down the road in Madelia.
