Madelia Health Foundation Establishes Main Street Presence
MADELIA, MN – The Madelia Health Foundation will soon have a dedicated presence on Main Street, creating new opportunities to connect with donors, share impact stories, and strengthen relationships within the community.
The Foundation will be located at 110 West Main Street in the Murphy Building, a centrally located space that includes five suites and shared common areas, including a conference room designed for collaboration and private meetings. The building is owned and overseen by Margaret Murphy, daughter of the late Philip J. Murphy. The property is managed by Matt Gunderson.
Philip J. Murphy was a longtime Madelia resident who lived in the community with his wife, Rosemary, beginning in 1965. An attorney for more than 40 years, Phil represented the Madelia Community Hospital and Madelia Clinic on numerous legal matters and played an important role in supporting local healthcare. He also served as a director of the Madelia Health Foundation at its inception, reflecting his deep commitment to the community.

The new location is expected to enhance the Foundation’s ability to engage with donors who prefer a personal, impact-focused approach, while providing a comfortable setting for conversations about community needs, healthcare initiatives, and philanthropic goals.
This new Main Street space represents not only a physical presence, but a renewed opportunity to connect, listen, and grow alongside the community it serves.
