MADELIA, MN – Madelia Health is excited to welcome Lizzie Bertrand, RDN, CDCES, to its care team. A dedicated and experienced dietician and diabetes educator, Lizzie is now accepting new patients in Madelia!
Lizzie Bertrand is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist dedicated to helping individuals feel confident, capable and in control of their health. She grew up in New Ulm and now lives outside of Sleepy Eye. Lizzie earned her degree from Minnesota State University in Mankato and holds national registration through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). She is credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Licensed Dietitian (LD), and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
Lizzie believes that nutrition should feel practical, personalized, and empowering- not overwhelming. She is passionate about breaking down complex medical information into clear, realistic steps that fit everyday routines. She wants patients to know that they don’t have to be perfect to make progress. Her goal is to meet each person where they are and help build habits that feel sustainable, not restrictive.
Outside of work Lizzie enjoys playing with her daughter, spending time outdoors at the BMX track, at the lake, or exploring UTV trails, staying active with strength training, and creating meaningful memories with friends and family.
