Madelia Health Foundation Gears Up for June 9th Golf Outing & Golden Bedpan Roll
MADELIA, MN – Get ready to swing into summer with the Madelia Health Foundation Golf Outing, happening Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at the Madelia Golf Course. This annual golf scramble brings together community and competition with the goal of supporting local healthcare. Whether you are a seasoned golfer or just looking for a fun way to show your support, this event is the place to be. It’s a day filled with friendly competition and fundraising for a great cause.
The fun starts early with the Golden Bedpan Golf Ball Drop, sponsored by Christensen Communications Company at 3:40pm, just before the 3:45pm shotgun start. The ball that falls closest to the mouth of the Golden Bedpan wins a $500 cash prize! If any golf ball lands directly in the Golden Bedpan, that ball is an automatic winner. You can purchase tickets for just $5 each from a Madelia Health Foundation board member, or the hospital registration desk.
The Golf Outing will be followed by a social hour at Embars Cocktail Bar and Lounge and dinner catered by La Plaza Fiesta. Don’t miss out on the fun! Whether you are registering a team, buying a Golden Bedpan ticket, volunteering, or sponsoring, your support helps keep care closer to home. Sign-up today at www.madeliahealth.org/foundation.
If this date doesn’t work for you, or you can’t get enough golf, consider joining us on August 26th at the St. James Golf Course for our 18-hole scramble! Registration and sponsorship opportunities are live on our website.
