MADELIA, MN – Madelia Health is excited to welcome Jinette Lais, APRN, DNP, to its care team. A dedicated and experienced nurse practitioner, Jinette is now accepting new patients in both Lake Crystal and Madelia.
Jinette Lais, APRN, DNP, is a family nurse practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, relationship‑centered care to patients of all ages. Born and raised in Madelia—and now raising her own family here—Jinette is deeply committed to serving the community she has always called home.
She earned her undergraduate degree from the College of Saint Benedict and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Viterbo University. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2017, Jinette gained extensive clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit, where she developed a strong foundation of critical‑thinking skills and a calm, steady approach to providing patient-centered care.
Jinette’s clinical interests include pediatric care, women’s health, acute care, and comprehensive family care. She believes that trust and connection are essential to effective healthcare, sharing, “I strive to meet patients where they’re at and find a point of connection that can help grow our working relationship.”
Outside the clinic, Jinette enjoys a full and active life with her husband, their four school‑aged children, and the family pup, Glacier. Much of her time is spent cheering on her kids at athletic events and extracurricular activities, but she also loves family adventures, a good game of cribbage or rummy, peppering the volleyball in the backyard, working on puzzles, or shooting hoops in the driveway. She’s an avid audiobook and podcast listener and especially enjoys reading historical fiction.
Her favorite place on earth is Glacier National Park, and she dreams of one day hiking every trail in the park.
