Madelia Health Foundation Announces Four Renewable Healthcare Scholarships for 2026-2027
MADELIA, MN – The Madelia Health Foundation is offering four renewable scholarships to area students who have been accepted into an accredited academic program leading to a career in healthcare. Each award is renewable for the recipient for each year of college, up to four years after the scholarship is received. The scholarships are awarded to the candidates who best display outstanding academic achievement, passion for a career in their selected healthcare field, financial need, and community involvement and volunteerism.
Madelia Health Foundation Healthcare Scholarship: This $500 renewable scholarship is available for High School seniors who are pursuing a career in healthcare. Students must be a resident of Madelia, Lake Crystal, St. James, Truman, New Ulm, or surrounding areas. Students must be accepted in an accredited associate or bachelor’s degree program to be eligible for the scholarship.
Yoshiko Masters Memorial Scholarship: This $1,000 renewable scholarship is available for a Madelia area student interested in pursuing a degree in Radiology or Lab Science. The scholarship is available to non-traditional students as well as high school seniors. Students must be accepted in a diploma or degree program at an accredited trade, associate, or baccalaureate school.
Pam Masters Nursing Scholarship: This $1,000 renewable scholarship is available to Madelia area students pursuing a career in the nursing field or to returning students pursuing advanced training in the nursing field. Students must be accepted in a diploma or degree program at an accredited trade, associate, or baccalaureate school.
