In this role, you’ll help prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for our patients, Meals-on-Wheels program, and caregivers while contributing to a welcoming, team-oriented environment.

Position Details
- Position: Part-Time
- Wage: $17.50 – $23.41 per hour (Based on Experience)

What You’ll Do
- Prepare, season, and cook meals according to established menus and recipes.
- Review daily menus to determine food preparation needs and quantities.
- Prepare and serve meals for patients, Meals-on-Wheels participants, and hospital caregivers.
- Safely operate kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, blenders, and other food preparation tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen environment throughout each shift.
- Monitor and record refrigerator, freezer, and food temperatures to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Record meal counts and assist with other dietary department responsibilities as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the Dietary Services team to provide excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous quantity or commercial cooking experience preferred (one year preferred).
- Ability to read and follow written recipes and instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.

Physical Requirements
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying food and kitchen equipment, bending, stooping, and the ability to safely operate commercial kitchen equipment. Candidates should also be able to judge food preparation times and prepare a variety of menu items.

Surgical Technologist / Scrub Nurse (Part-Time)
Madelia Health is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist or Scrub Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This position plays an essential role in supporting safe, high-quality surgical care by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring surgical instruments and equipment are properly managed throughout the patient experience.

Position Details
- Position: Surgical Technologist / Scrub Nurse
- Location: Madelia
- Employment Type: Part-Time

Qualifications
- Current Minnesota Surgical Technologist certification or applicable nursing licensure.
- Minimum of two (2) years of scrub or surgical technology experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team.
Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain a sterile operating field for surgical procedures.
- Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgery.
- Assist surgeons during intraoperative procedures.
- Perform accurate counts of instruments, sponges, needles, and blades.
- Clean, sterilize, assemble, and prepare surgical instruments and equipment.
- Assist with operating room setup and turnover between cases.
- Stock and maintain sterile surgical supplies.
- Support quality patient care and safety throughout the surgical experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Our family medical clinics also provides care for patients in all the seasons of their life.
