Hours: Full Time position 4 days per week that includes call rotation. Call is on rotation between four techs. If working as PRN the shifts would be on call at least one weekend per month.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology Program; ARRT Certified, current BLS certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares patients for X-Ray/CT/DXA exams, positions patients based upon the type of procedure to be performed.
  • Administers contrast and starts IVs safely as ordered by the treating clinician.
  • Adjusts switches regulating length and intensity of exposure.
  • Maintains quality assurance by performing appropriate validity tests and keeping quality assurance records, as required by Equipment Manual.
  • Reviews images in PACS prior to Radiologist review in PACS, send images as requested to outside facilities for continuity of care.
  • Positions patient under X-Ray machine, adjusts immobilization devices, and provides appropriate radiation protection.
  • Prepares reports and maintains records of services rendered.
  • Maintains and operates all medical devices and equipment, including calibration and record keeping in accordance with current policy and procedures.
  • Completes quality assurance activities on equipment and medical devices as well as testing processes.
  • Maintains supplies, cleans rooms and equipment, and stocks exam rooms.
  • Notifies supervisor immediately if equipment is not functioning properly, supplies are needed, or facility is not operating as expected.
  • Manages patient flow and volume. Keeps patients informed of expected wait times
  • Responsible for clerical tasks associated with patient care and proper record keeping. Ensures accuracy in documentation.
  • Answers telephone as needed.
  • Attends staff meetings as required.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities:

  •  The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family.
  • The LPN collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the provider or care team in patient assessment and care planning.

Madelia Health is looking to add a Full Time CMA to our Madelia Clinic team!

Position Summary:

  • The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is accountable for the safe, efficient and effective delivery of nursing care within the scope of his or her practice
  • The CMA, under the direction of the RN and Laboratory staff, provides care in accordance with departmental and Madelia Health’s (MH)policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of an approved educational program for Certified Medical Assistant’s
  • Must possess a current, active certification in the state of Minnesota
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Experience in like Medical Field of one year preferred

Responsibilities:

  •  The CMA provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse (RN) or other assigned supervisor and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor in meeting the needs of the patient/family.
  • The CMA collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the provider or care team in patient assessment and care planning.
  • The CMA participates as a member of the health care team and accepts delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider in meeting needs of the patient/family.
  • The CMA delivers care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures of the organization.
  • The CMA will collect and perform laboratory tests under the direction of the Lab Manager and Lab staff on occassion.
  • The CMA may be required to travel to any of Madelia Health’s Clinic sites to perform his/her duties.
  • Other duties assigned

Schedule:

Full Time

Hours/Pay Period:

The position will be between 30-40 hours a week, 60-80 hours Bi-weekly.

Schedule Details:

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm with no weekends, holidays, or call. Hours may vary based on the operating hours of the clinic.

Madelia Health is looking to add a Part Time Housekeeper to our team!

Position Summary:

Under supervision of the EVS Supervisor, cleans and sanitizes rooms/areas for patients and employees.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma not required. Must be able to write and read written instructions.
  • Experience: One-year quantity cleaning experience desired.

Specific Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Clean and service assigned housekeeping areas of the Hospital/Clinic
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Follow Isolation procedures
  • Follow Infection Control Standards
  • Complete and sign daily check off sheets
  • Assist with Laundry Duties
  • Attend in-services

Job Requirements: 

Physical demands: Standing, walking, climbing, Lift, stoops, and carries cleaning supplies and equipment. 

Special demands: Ability to clean, sanitize and to operate hospital/clinic cleaning equipment.

Schedule: Part Time

Hours/Pay Period: The position will be between about 10 hours a week, 20 hours bi-weekly.

Schedule Details: Monday – Friday shifts will be 5:00pm – 9:00pm and every other weekend and holiday shifts will be 7:00am – 11:00am.
