Professional Duties:

  • Provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management in an outpatient clinic setting
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat adults, adolescents, and children experiencing symptoms of psychiatric disorders and mental health problems.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals, case managers, medical providers, and others to effectively coordinate client care.
  • Develop patient-centered treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices to ensure optimized interventions and treatment outcomes.
  • Orders, interprets and acts on indicated monitoring and results while keeping patient informed of the purpose for and results of such testing.

Job Duties:

  • Providing and coordinating medical care for patients presenting to the emergency department and for urgent care services
  • Cross coverage of hospitalized patients required after hours, weekends and based on scheduling needs.
  • Documenting in the patient record
  • Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, ordering, conducting and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescription of pharmacological agents and patient education.

Wages: We offer a competitive experienced base pay and an additional loaded mileage premium.

Facility: We have a purpose-built EMS station with 3 full bedrooms (with smart TVs), a full kitchen, in house laundry, living room with a big screen smart TV, patio with grill, and of course high speed Wifi.

Ambulances and Equipment: We have some of the latest high-quality equipment such as a Hamilton T1 Ventilator, HFNC, and the latest X-Series Zoll monitor with ETCO2 and SPCO capability. We have a LUCAS device (with a 2nd on order), Stryker Power cots (with auto load system), and two well maintained low mileage Type 3 Super Chief ambulances.

Responsibilities: Transports patients safely according to clinical and operational guidelines. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws; regulations and policies, procedures and standards. Perform Advance Life Support procedures in emergent and non-emergent responses as needed. Document patient information in an electronic health record system. Online continuing education is required. We have a one weekend per quarter call requirement (paid).

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Paramedic licensure from MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board.
  • Valid driver’s license and DMV record that meet the Madelia Health insurability requirements.
  • Ability to safely move patients with the assistance of a partner.

Madelia Health is looking for trained casual EMRs to be part of our progressive ALS team.

Responsibilities: Transports patients safely according to clinical and operational guidelines. Maintain knowledge of and comply with all relevant laws; regulations and policies, procedures and standards. Perform or assist with Basic Life Support procedures in emergent and non-emergent responses as needed. Online continuing education is required. We have a one weekend per quarter call requirement (paid).

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • EMR licensure from MN Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board.
  • Valid driver’s license and DMV record that meet the Madelia Health insurability requirements.
  • Ability to safely move patients with the assistance of a partner.
  • Background study and pre-employment drug testing also required.

Wages: We offer a competitive experienced base pay and an additional loaded mileage premium.

Facility: We have a purpose-built EMS station with 3 full bedrooms (with smart TVs), a full kitchen, in house laundry, living room with a big screen smart TV, patio with grill, and of course high speed Wifi.

Ambulances and Equipment: We have some of the latest high-quality equipment such as a Hamilton T1 Ventilator, HFNC, and the latest X-Series Zoll monitor with ETCO2 and SPCO capability. We have a LUCAS device (with a 2nd on order), Stryker Power cots (with auto load system), and two well maintained low mileage Type 3 Super Chief ambulances.

Other Perks: Uniforms and jackets provided, paid training with BLS offered in house, you get to work with exceptional EMS Clinicians and be supported by a progressive and expanding community hospital.
