Does the daily preparation and dispensing of medications for MCHC inpatients and outpatients.
Works closely with patients and their provider to be sure that patients get the most benefit from their medication.
Dr. Malmskog reviews prescriptions from all prescribers that are providing care to a patient, and any over-the-counter and herbal products that the patient may be taking to identify and prevent medication issues.
She also gives in-depth medication-related education and advice to patients, family and/or caregivers to help assure proper medication use.
Grew up in Ulen, a small town in northern Minnesota.
