Madelia Health Welcomes Outpatient Therapist Robyn Schumacher

Madelia, Minn. – Madelia Health announces the addition of Robyn Schumacher to their Mental Health Clinic Team in Madelia. Schumacher is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and is endorsed through the Minnesota Association for Children’s Mental Health (MACMH) as an Infant Mental Health Specialist.

LMFTs are mental health professionals trained in psychotherapy and family systems, and licensed to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems. LPCCs work with patients individually, in groups, or with families to help them navigate emotional, social, and psychological challenges. They are trained to diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions.

Schumacher provides therapy to children ages birth to 12 and their caregivers. She specializes in infant, early childhood clinical services with children ages birth to six and their caregivers. She is certified in Parent-Childhood Interaction Therapy and is rostered in Child-Parent Psychotherapy. She also provides therapy to adults experiencing anxiety and depression, high stress events and/or trauma history and attachment issues. She consults with county providers, childcare providers and educational staff.

as well as fostering growth of the professionals that work with children, teens, and adults,” said Schumacher. “I value

Schumacher grew up in Southern Minnesota and earned her master’s degree from Minnesota State University-Mankato. She enjoys family time and alone time. Her favorite things are flowers, reading, learning, comedy shows, sunshine and laughter. She joins Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Rebecca Moore, and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Patrice Luker, on our Mental Health Care staff in Madelia. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Jaimee Kudrle works at the Madelia Health Lake Crystal Clinic.
