New Nurse Practitioner at Madelia Health – St. James Clinic
Madelia, Minn. – Madelia Health is excited to announce that Lacey Groebner MSN, APRN, FNP-C, will be our Nurse Practitioner at the new St. James Clinic when it opens on February 1st. Groebner has been training at the Madelia Clinic and will also be working in St. James with Dr. Luis Martinez.
Groebner grew up in Walnut Grove, Minn. and attended Rasmussen College in Mankato, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN). She worked as an LPN in the Tracy Clinic, and as a School Nurse in the Springfield Public Schools. She then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD. Groebner worked as an RN at the Sleepy Eye Medical Center, Sanford – Westbrook, and Davita – Hemodialysis in Redwood Falls.
While working as an RN, Groebner earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Harding University. Since receiving her master’s, she has worked as a COVID Test Supervisor in Mankato for Vault Health, and most recently in Wabasso for Tapestry Telehealth in long term care and addiction medicine. She is board-certified and at Madelia Health will care for patients of all ages in her family medicine practice at the St. James Clinic.
“I believe in putting the patient first and taking the time to listen to their concerns about their health,” said Groebner. “I help them make goals for their health and work with them to create a plan that helps them achieve those goals. I take the time to listen and help prevent disease, maintain health and treat acute illnesses.”
