Madelia Health Welcomes General Surgeon Dr. Daniel S. Paley

Madelia, Minn. – Madelia Health announces the addition of General Surgeon, Dr. Daniel S. Paley, to their Surgery Department in Madelia. Paley is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Breast Surgeons, American Hernia Society, American Medical Informatics Association and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons.

Dr. Paley completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He earned his MD from Ohio State University College of Medicine and did his general surgery residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. His areas of practice include: acute care surgery, breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, colonoscopy and upper endoscopy, laparoscopy (including biliary, hernia, colectomy, and acute care), diagnosis and management of digestive disorders, currently trauma-level 4.

Most recently Dr. Paley has been working in leadership positions at the Owatonna Hospital. He is married with two adult children and his interests include hiking, travel, kayaking and sports.
