Madelia Health Welcomes Ear, Nost & Throat Specialist, Dr. Robert Fischer
MADELIA, MN – Madelia Health is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Robert Fischer to their Surgery Department. Dr. Fischer is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Wyoming State Board of Medicine, North Dakota Board of Medicine, and Minnesota Board of Medicine. Dr. Fischer earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin, and an MD from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his otolaryngology residency in Portsmouth, VA at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital. As an Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist, Dr. Fischer offers surgical procedures such as ear tubes, tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, turbinectomy, myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, and more.
Dr. Fischer grew up in Amery, Wisconsin, and is a United States Navy Veteran. He takes a small-town approach to his practice and aims to get to know patients and help them where he can. Dr. Fischer enjoys water sports, including skiing, surfing, and whitewater kayaking. He also likes to travel and practice his Spanish skills.
