How are donations accepted?

Foundation gift envelopes are also available at area churches, funeral homes, and at the hospital.

Is my donation tax deductible?

The Madelia Health Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Whom do I contact to discuss making a donation?

How will donations be utilized?

Donations help purchase specialized medical equipment and provide training for healthcare providers in our community. Foundation staff assist donors with specific giving requests.

How will a donor benefit from the Foundation?

Donors partner with the Foundation, providing the community with an up-to-date, life-saving medical facility. Donors receive full tax benefits for their contribution. The Foundation is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

Donors are listed in the Hospital’s Annual Report; we acknowledge donations of $1000 or more on the permanent display in the Hospital’s lobby.

How will the community benefit from the Foundation?

The Madelia community benefits from a modern medical facility which offers local, up-to-date medical care.

Why was the Foundation formed?

The Madelia Health Foundation was established in 2004 to provide charitable support for medical and educational needs of the Hospital that exceed normal operating expenses.
