The Madelia Health Foundation 5K Run/1M Walk took place on Saturday, July 10th during Madelia Park Days. With the race cancelled in 2020 it was exciting to once again host an “in person” race event. As in previous years, Anderson Race Management co-sponsored the event and provided the chipped race bibs, the start/finish line, snacks, and their race expertise. It was a rainy day for the 5K, but that didn’t deter people from participating. 100 people between the ages of 5 and 74 registered to participate this year.

Downs Food Group won the Most Participants Team trophy. The Mountain Lake Mile Munchers won the Best Team Time trophy.
